Congratulations on our client’s work permit approval. The Trump administration made significant limitations on applying for a work permit with on a pending asylum application. However, with the assistance of the ASAP program, we were able to secure the work permit for our client. In previous years, we receiving new and renewal work permits took about 3-4 months of total processing times. There were significant delays in work permit processing, mainly attributable to the regulation changes from the Trump administration. And also the administrative delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic did not help either.
We are very happy for our client’s work permit approval and the ability to now find work with dignified pay.
