Genova Law is happy for our client’s successful Motion to Terminate grant. That means that the removal proceedings for our client are no longer continuing. With the successful motion to terminate, our client no longer needs to appear before the Immigration court.
The client’s immigration history is now free from the burden of the removal process because of the motion to terminate grant. What that means is that since our client is eligible to pursue adjustment of status. She can do that at her leisure outside of the court system. This is a significant gain for her because being in the removal court always carries the risk of a removal order on the merits of the case. Another risk is an inabstentia removal order if the client misses a court date for any reason.
Now on to applying for adjustment of status and getting her one step closer to holding her green card in her hands. Contact our Immigration attorney if you would like to schedule a consultation.
